1. Data controller

SAGA is an experience by DUOVIA Servicios Digitales S.L., tax identification number B93937811, which acts as the data controller. For any privacy questions, you can contact us at hola@duovia.cat.

2. Data used by SAGA

AI mode lets you play without creating an account or providing an email or password. A temporary browser session identifies the guest and lets them resume their match while that session is retained. The data needed to run the match and store its results is saved, without including the guest in the registered-account leaderboard.

To provide the service, we may process your username, email address, password stored as a hash when traditional sign-in is used, session identifiers, match participation, game decisions and results, rankings and messages sent to match chat.

If you choose “Continue with Google”, we receive a stable account identifier, your name and verified email from Google. SAGA does not receive or store your Google password and does not request access to Gmail, contacts, Drive or other account services.

The server and hosting provider may also generate technical logs, such as IP address, date, browser, errors and security events, needed to maintain and protect the service.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Create accounts, authenticate users and maintain their sessions.
• Synchronise multiplayer matches and display their results.
• Allow communication between participants in the same match.
• Detect errors, abuse and security incidents.
• Handle enquiries and data protection rights requests.

Processing is necessary to provide the requested experience and also relies on the legitimate interest in maintaining its security. Where an operation requires consent, it will be requested specifically.

4. Local storage and cookies

SAGA uses an essential session cookie to maintain access. If you open a match invitation, it stores a functional cookie for up to 24 hours, protected from JavaScript access, containing only the code and a random token. It is deleted when used or discarded and preserves the destination during sign-in or installation. Other functional preferences may be stored on the device, such as which chat messages have already been seen. SAGA does not use advertising cookies or commercial tracking tools.

Your language choice is saved in this browser for future visits.

The installable app only caches public interface resources. It does not store private match responses, personal maps, credentials or chat messages offline.

5. Recipients and transfers

We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising. Access is limited to the controller and essential hosting, communications and maintenance providers, subject to the appropriate safeguards, or to authorities where legally required.

When you select Google sign-in, Google Identity Services acts solely as an authentication provider in accordance with your Google account settings and privacy policy.

6. Retention

Account data is retained while the account remains active. Deletion requests are completed within a maximum of 30 days. Technical and security logs may be retained for up to 90 days; match statistics may be retained after that period only in anonymised form.

Where a legal obligation applies, essential information may be retained with access restricted for the required period. Other data that is no longer needed will be securely deleted or anonymised.

7. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction or portability by writing to hola@duovia.cat. See the steps to delete your SAGA account and its associated data. You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.

8. Security and minors

We apply technical and organisational measures to reduce unauthorised access, loss or alteration. No system is infallible, and these measures are reviewed regularly.

SAGA is not specifically aimed at children under 16. The Google Play listing will clearly indicate its suspense, danger and fictional violence content.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated when features, providers or legal obligations change. The current version's date will always appear at the top.
